i got the demo last night and im suuuper impressed with the character creator its one of the best anime-style ones ive seen!! i only played stories 2 but i really liked it, the combat system and monster-raising stuff felt great and the story was pretty fun tho i never finished it....

i had this stretch of episodes on a dvd and would watch it over and over again because of baby silver..it also made me love lanturn!

OO yes definitely adding these to my list. ive actually never played a wario game despite wanting to since seeing his cutout at blockbuster, probably around the time those games were released hahaha

i feel like i totally missed out on mario stuff from this era so im excited to check this one out!!

i also liked that the randomized party member names and ambiguous genders made it easy to project your own stories onto them

seeing her sprite with the white hair at the end of the game was so cool as a kid.. in general i liked that all the kids had pretty melancholy lives in the real world and that marche was constantly questioning if restoring their former lives. i wanted montblanc to be my best friend so badly

this made me realize that ffta was probably my first encounter with feeling like i was 'breaking a game' beyond just over leveling in pokemon

i replayed the sequel recently and really liked a lot of the additional mechanics and races but the writing was a bit of a downgrade. i think the gba character limit made the originals writing very unique!

i just saw there was a gba tactics ogre and was intrigued! i lost the minish cap in my dads truck as a kid after getting stuck quite early on so hopefully my adult self has better luck
