I was slightly angry at Mateta when surrounded by four defenders he didn’t pass the ball to an unmarked Munoz but rather kept it for himself. He knew he could do it, it’s his job, and he scored. A proper centre forward he is.
One of the lessons drawn from yesterday is that Chris Richards defo should go back to his afro.
I watched the game today in a Scottish pub in Budapest. The matches I watched there Palace won them all: Palace vs Arsenal 3-0 (2017), Palace vs Everton 3-2 (2021), Palace vs West Ham 4-3 (2023), Brighton vs Palace 1-3 (2024). Lucky pub, lucky table. ❤️💙
