Managed to implement a basic interaction system with interactionable objects and a basic upgrade system. Upgrades will be installed through story arcs or milestones.

Found this cool Godot addon called TerraBrush 2 weeks ago and decided to give it a try. And because I suck at Level Design, I started a new project instead of working on my boomer shooter, does this make sense?? pobably not, but anyways, here is a gif for you :)

Instead of learning Trenchbroom, I decided to look into Crocotile3D but then hit a roadblock, because I didn't have a tileset of all my collected retro textures, so I build a small tool for that: tilesetgenerator.thunderbeardgames.com

This is the first time I opened a mapeditor since the HL2 mapping days in the early 2000s. Setting up godot_func and Trenchbroom was .. special :D But it's working and I love how you build maps with Trenchbroom.
So after a long time just lurking, I wanted to show you what I'm working on. A Boomer Shooter with UT2k4 like movement. For the map I wanted to achieve a Moria like feeling :D

Nothing to share yet, sadly. I'm pretty happy with the movement right now and finally set up Trenchbroom for mapping. Maybe I should build a textured test level before building new weapons, for better screenshots and GIFs :D
Working on a new gun for my boomer shooter from 10-12, not much time but hopefully with consistency I'll get somewhere eventually..
