i’ve been doing well, thanks! i’m excited to go public with my current project once it is a bit further along, but it is probably NOT what you expect from me. New territory. Makes it scary, but exciting!

The deep goal of bluesky is to decentralize the social internet so that every individual controls their experience of it rather than having it be controlled by 5 random billionaires. Everyone thinks they signed up for a demuskified twitter...we actually signed an exciting and bizarre experiment.

the biggest tragedy in the online content creator space is how many genuinely talented people serve an algorithm that doesn't give a fuck about them instead of pursuing their own creative ambitions

i urge anyone reading this who care about making stuff online, streams, videos, writing, whatever --> divorce yourself from the creator space's over-obsession with numbers algorithms and optimization and just make stuff you LOVE

stepping back from the creator space and just focusing on living a fulfilling life has helped me really remember WHY i started creating stuff in the first place

not to be a cornball but truly TRULY stepping back from the internet really put a lot of things in perspective and has made my mindset about making stuff so incredibly clear and I am so grateful
