I pull extra jobs at work to afford our two Interform club seats because I love this team and believe in putting my money where my mouth is. While this isn’t, to my knowledge, happening in that section, I’m going to be so angry if I get to my seats at the opener and it is.

In some cases, people are being moved into the Zions club area, but paying 660 less than club STM.

I know it’s not good for anyone, but STM on the West, who paid more for their tickets, are being told to suck it up by ticket reps when they call to ask why people from the east side are being moved to their section but paying less for those seats.

royals average last year was between 9-10k, about mid for the league. That’s not to say that attendance shouldn’t be better, but that would also mean more promotion of the team from the FO, and we’ve yet to see that really happen.

I think they ranked the Royals correctly here. However, I’m going to defend the attendance comment. While the stadium does look “empty” on tv, it is a 20k person stadium. Most of the other small-mid market cities have 10-12k stadiums, so they always look full.

And the slogan has had extremely bad associations/connotations since the 1930s. The credit union is great, they are supportive of many things in Utah, but it’s not a good name.

Rebrand the supports group as “The Hive”

I was so anti-anything beehive in that survey form the Miller group as a possible rebrand, but the idea of “The Swarm” has me rethinking my stance.

And given the optics of people buying the kit, which does not have monetary impact on the sponsor, and the removing the sponsor…it sends a pretty strong visual message that many here in Utah have been saying, but seems not be getting across.

Yes, I love the Royals “swarm” kit and the best news is, I hear the jersey sponsor is real easy to take off this year with an iron and the dull side of a butter knife.
