8/8 I hope this helps! I understand the desire to be as healthy as possible, but not everything that looks healthy is actually good for you. Many people overthink being healthy, but it’s actually simpler than you might think. Do your research, consult your doctor, and take care of yourself. 🫶

7/8 My personal experience: I only take fish oil, vitamin D3, and magnesium approved by my doctor based on our consultations. He explained why I needed each one, and it’s now in my medical record so it’s accessible in case of an emergency.

6/8 Did you know that taking a too many supplements can harm your body. Overloading on different kinds can damage your liver and gut. More is not always better balance and consulting your doctor are key.

5/8 If you think pharmacies profit more from supplements, that’s wrong. It’s the opposite. The supplement industry grew from $4 billion in 1994 to $35.7 billion in 2022 by using their advtange healthy marketing and influencers to promote products with promo codes. 🤑

4/8 Not all supplements list their ingredients accurately. Of 272 products tested, 51% had ingredients that didn’t match their labels. Steroidal products had an 82% mislabeling rate, appearance and performance-enhancing supplements were at 80%, and weight loss products hit 72%. 👈

3/8 You don’t have to buy expensive supplements, even if they come with a promo code. That’s usually just the regular price with the code applied. Use examine.com to review supplements it compares products and helps you save money.

2/8 Why consult your doctor before taking supplements? Everyone’s body is different. Some may be sensitive to certain supplements, or their meds might can't combine. For example, high blood pressure meds with the wrong supplement can cause dizziness or headaches... Blame to the wrong source.

1/8 When I say "safe" I don’t mean all supplements are harmful, but think twice—are they necessary? Many influencers promote them for their own benefit, with zero legit evidence, offering vague replies or encouraging you to consult the supplement company. Don’t you see something off there? 👈

Buying supplements based on recommendations from your favorite influencers? Just because they offer a promo code doesn’t mean it’s the right choice for you. Supplements aren’t one-size-fits-all. Always consult your doctor to ensure they’re safe and necessary. Let’s discuss! 🧵 #supplements #debunked

Thought I’d share a quick protein hack. Just add collagen to your coffee! Just one scoop equals 10 grams of protein. It doesn’t really taste like anything, maybe just a little. Merry Christmas! #protein #coffee #healthy #fitness

[6/7] Ex: Immunity shots (turmeric, ginger, ACV) are trendy, but science doesn’t fully back their benefits. They may have anti-inflammatory properties or aid digestion, making them great for recovery when you’re sick or restoring energy. However, they’re not magic or a replacement for good nutrition

[5/7] Look I love wheatgrass, immunity shots, and fresh juice from my juicer. I enjoy them—not because of detox, but because they’re excellent sources of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and hydration. They help me feel better and restore my energy when I need it. See next

[4/7] Remember, your body is designed to detoxify itself. Support it with healthy habits instead of relying on unproven detox programs. If you feel something is off, don’t reached out to influencers or supplement companies—Talk with your doctor!!!

[3/7] "Detox diets are a good way to lose weight." No! Any weight loss from detox or restrictive diets happens because of a calorie deficit 👈 not because of "detoxing" These approaches aren’t sustainable and often lead to falling back into old habits.

[2/7] "Detoxes can prevent or cure diseases." No! There’s no scientific evidence supporting detox diets in disease prevention or treatment. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are more effective.

[1/7] The best way to “detox” is by taking care of your body with balanced nutrition, staying hydrated, and staying consistent with movement...no extreme cleanses or special foods are required. Dont fall for any of stupid fads!

After the holidays, many people think about “detoxing” but the truth is, your body especially your liver and kidneys already does an amazing job of detoxifying naturally. You don’t need special foods, juices, or cleanses for this. 👈Let's Discuss!! 🧵 #healthy #debunked #detox #fitness

[4/4] Now you know how to choose sauces that work best for you! 👈 Feel free to DM or comment if you have any questions. Wait..why do I care about this? I used to be just as confused about why I had to cut out my favorite sauces. Now I know—and so do you! Everything in moderation is perfectly fine! 🫶

The right half is green, symbolizing a “good” mood with a cheerful, smiling face, raised eyebrows, and bright eyes. Below the apple, the word “BAD” appears in bold red text, and “GOOD” appears in bold green text. The design combines a playful and cartoonish art style to visually contrast negative and positive emotions.

[3/4] Most health influencers oversimplify with “Not this. This” and give minimal explanations, or eliminate foods just because an ingredient is “bad” 🙄 This confuses people and harms their relationship with food, making them cut out favorite sauces without knowing why. 🚩🚩🚩🚩

[2/4] Key is to measure your sauce so you don’t have to cut out your favorites. If you want more sauce but fewer calories, find alternatives. I love Brianna’s dressing but limit the amount for flavor without using too much. I also love mayo, I don’t cut it out. I just spread less to stay on track.

[1/4] Let’s use my sauce G Hughes as an example. It’s not just because it’s sugar-free it’s also because it’s low in calories (10 calories per two tbsp) and put it in my app MyFitnessPal. 41 grams for 14 calories! 🙌 Look at how much it coats my chicken, and I still get to enjoy the sauce.

Saw someone on live (not naming names) say, "Don’t destroy Hearview—they care about us and accessibility for the Deaf/HoH community" But it seems they lack funds. I doubt they’ll create a new version—likely just patch the current product to make it look like they developed it. Just no! #Hearviewscam
