-eventually changing something fundamental about it, either cosmetically (ova inspirations), or mechanically (changing scaling, floatier gravity, etc). A game I'm looking forward to is this game called Light speed Lina, it's like a near perfect marriage of 2D Sonic and Adventure gameplay.

Oh I've played that game and it's truly fantastic. Here's hoping that latest update comes out soon some day.

But as good as that is, it still isn't this 1 to 1 experience you get out of playing the 2D classic Sonic formula in 3D, which really no one really has done successfully without-

As long as the fandom is allowed to keep doing what they want with Sonic's potential where such gameplay styles for him can go on and exist without needing to feel like some "objective" Sonic. I just want the Sonic I loved most to continue with more things to experience it with.

But I think for the fandom, it's hard to disassociate what some fans of Sonic want to see with what's been given gameplay wise with what the official product Sonic Team makes and I think it's time to let that mindset go. I've become accepting with what SEGA do with Sonic after 30 years with him,

I, personally, want a S3K in 3D experience. And I mean, how it felt playing S3K first time, but reenvisioned in 3D space. I know most don't think that's really possible, because if it was "why didn't SEGA do it then?" Because that's not their vision at the time, that's why. Nor, did it have to be.

I know a lot that modern era Sonic brought to the formula is very much beloved by many people that grew up with it, but the value that came from the more "simple" classic style is more than enough for people to just want more content with that foundation.

With all that said, commissions are also an option, as I'm setting up tiers on SubscribeStar just for this, which should allow for more easier access to directly message and fund me for your commission. Past options like Paypal made it harder for us so I hope this will make things simpler.
