The only true spiders I have kept are, Barylestis scutatus (Cameroon crab spider) various other Huntsman spiders and Sicarius thomisoides. The Sicarius thomisoides live as long as tarantulas, so no worries with them. 😊
Have you ever kept these Sicarius thomisoides (six eyed sand spider)? They are very long lived for true spiders. This one is already about 8 years old. They can apparently live for 15+ years. Really easy to keep and fun to feed. 😊
