So I've recently been trying to play No Mans Sky. I've had it for ages, just never really played it. I want to like it, but the storyline makes no sense or is so difficult to get into it's taking me out.

I know it's a super grindy game but I'm not sure I can get past the odd storytelling style.

I was SO tired after Zinezilla yesterday. It was busier than I expected. This shows just how much of an appetite Bristol has for these kinds of events. Had a few people ask about @pridecaf.bsky.social which was lovely, Nate and I are due for a chat soon about it.

As an addendum to my commissions post, I'm having an extremely hard time finding even part-time work in my local area, let alone full time work in my field.

It's a long shot, but I'm putting my credentials/training below, just in case anyone has any job leads I might be able to follow:

Creative block 2025 has been a tough year for me so far. I’ve wanted desperately to be creative, but most of that has been blocked. I live in the UK, which has its own political flaws, there is a lot going on in o.....

It's been forever since I put out an update for Conventions. It's still not complete. I feel that any progress is good progress and so today I put out v0.9 of the document.

Having that thing where I apply for something that asks me if I represent a minority and I shyly put my hand up and say "I'm bisexual and don't generally feel 'male'" and then instantly feel guilty as a cis-gendered white person who is very male presenting.

So I would love to make some progress toward my project that has a working title of "Plurals". It's intended to be a devised play and there is a lot about the project that I am scared about and a lot I am excited for.

I need to start working towards it but it just feels like a massive project.
