The cost of a passport can be an issue for many Americans, but having one is now a priority in Republican dominated America. Try to find a way to obtain a legitimately issued American passport. A valid driver's license will no long serve as an acceptable ID.

Having a passport didn't use to be necessary to have in America. Now, like WWII Nazi Germany, when some law/govermental person demands to see "your papers", you better have one on you. Apply for one today; the system is backed up, but having a passport is no longer just needed to travel.
