The blue walls of the gallery provided a vibrant backdrop to highlight details of the classical, white sculptures and plaster casts. Previously, the walls were painted a terracotta colour which was exposed when the freizes were removed.
The presence of absence. In 2024, Cork's Crawford Art Gallery’s iconic collection of Canova casts, freizes and relief sculptures left the building for the first time in 140 years to accommodate a redevelopment of the gallery.

@rteradio1.bsky.social's new schedule is SO bad. Talk radio until 3 pm from Monday to Friday and an hour of sports every evening from 6 to 7 because blanket sports coverage every weekend really isn't enough. Hardly listen to RTE1 since they launched it, it's exceedingly dull.
