Oh god, I felt this to my very core lol. I hate writing description, it’s so boring for me and as a reader, I tend to forget what’s described anyway unless it’s important 😂 But I do split up dialogue with at least character actions. What they do as they talk can be a way to show their personality

Created a section in Scrivener for canon / non-canon scenes that didn’t make it into the story just to blow off steam & write whatever I want every time I have bad writer’s block. I’ve already written ~20pgs in this section 💀

I hate having to limit “filler” in my stories. A BIG part of my writing is found families, but so many of their scenes are the 1st to be on the chopping block in order to shrink word count. Meanwhile, romance scenes are recommended to be longer.

I love both but damn. Family growth matters too🥲 #bvm
