There was a time in the 90s when if you wanted a Boston punk-band-with-a-little-something-extra you had to choose the Mighty Mighty Bosstones (horns) or the Dropkick Murphys (bagpipes). I, a sixth grader at the time, went all-in on the Bosstones. It's proven a bad investment.

Watched the show of this book (v. good) but what we've seen from the Epstein files gives the lie to the idea that there's a network of suave, elite evildoers running the world's arms sales, conflicts etc. It's like competence porn for villains; we now know that these kinds of evildoers are buffoons.
