I sometimes feel the same about Gunpla which also seems to come in (tidal) waves, but it's good to pick up new tips and techniques from different model/figure genres, and there's often that "wow" moment when someone shares something exceptional. Funny we barely see any crossover railway stuff.

I've learned more from Youtube about LEDs and circuits this weekend than in my years of schooling. But sometimes you need to ask someone, especially as my first ever project seems to be two series circuits in parallel, just for the challenge 🤣
Anyone out there with some basic electronic skills? I'm aiming to illuminate a car model (tail lights and headlights) with 2x1.8V red LEDs and 2x3.0V white LEDs. Just to complicate things, I want to add a switch 😁. The resistors are next level up from minimum. Does this look viable? #scalemodels
