The Boo Radleys were my favourite band back in the 1990's. I have more or less everything they did (even the EPs
compiled here and Ichbod and I!).

Or even post first world war....
I was going to go with BaCON.....but yours is better!
It's a great album, but it's not Loveless...which i guess is the opposite of what you are saying. I love them both, but Loveless for me was just something completely amazing when i first heard it....admittedly long after it came out lol!
As with the MeCN though, why would you not write iPrOH as you don't save much space by abbreviating. See also TEA (Et3N), etc.
Absolutely. IPA on draft tastes a lot better than IPA in the lab for some reason.....
Join us and ride the steamroller for the good of all #Chemsky
Considering my feelings re: acetonitrile, i am strangely ambivalent about these and happy to tolerate either variant.....
I would drive that steamroller full speed ahead....*ACN must die*
He was excellent as always. Must be 5th or 6th time we have been to see him- fab:)
Dara O'Briain's stage before the show starts.
Congratulations again Mike:)!
We are looking for two talented people to join us at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick as assistant professors. Permanent positions. π§ͺππ₯½

Both are great and i could easily convince myself either way!
Cleopatra lived closer in time to 'yeet' being in the dictionary than to the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza.
Seconded. Mestizo is good (also endorsed by a Mexican friend of mine). It's been around for ~20 years too.
'An incredible record' is the only valid answer to that question....
Stunning! It's a beautiful place in daylight, but that's spectacular:)

A slightly blurred picture of a Roman person in a tunic, facing left. Above and below are two parallel decorative borders. The person is definitely not skiing. Instead a poorly executed attempt by the mosaicist to give the person a shadow means it looks like he's skiing.
It's the Winter Olympics, so here's a mosaic of a Roman who is *definitely* skiing. β·οΈπ

Explaining the plot of Scooby-Doo to my daughter and realizing the central irony of the show is that the gang cruises around looking for magic and mysteries that never pan out, while the only truly supernatural element is the talking dog they all ignore.

Here, history happened. UCL was the first UK university to welcome people of all faiths, the first to admit students regardless of social background, and the first to welcome women into higher education alongside men.

"Theyβve attacked all these people, in a desperate attempt to make clear to racists and social conservatives that they hear them. If the racists and social conservatives were actually going to vote for them this would merely seem abhorrent. When they clearly arenβt, itβs stupid too."
Normally at this time of year i think how nice it would be to go to Rome to watch the rugby. A nice pizza, a Peroni or two maybe sitting outside in the sunshine before the gams....Not today, looks horrendous! #SixNations
Tune!
Absolutely! Garbage a great too. Saw SA almost by accident at a Heinken music festival
In the 90s and they absolutely blew me away even though i wasn't particularly that fussed about seeing them....
An infographic titled "The Chemistry of Whisky" details the production process and the chemical compounds responsible for flavor. The top section illustrates a six-step journey starting with preparation, where dried barley is ground and husks removed. This is followed by mashing to dissolve sugars, fermenting with yeast to create alcohol, and distilling to increase purity. The spirit then undergoes ageing in oak casks for several years before finally reaching the Bottling stage for consumption. The lower sections identify specific molecules that influence the palate. Whisky lactones from oak barrels provide woody and coconut flavors. Phenolic compounds like guaiacol and eugenol contribute smoky and medicinal notes. Aldehydes such as vanillin and syringaldehyde add vanilla and spicy aromas. Esters like ethyl hexanoate and isoamyl acetate create fruity scents resembling apples and bananas. Finally, other compounds like phenethyl alcohol add floral notes, while diacetyl provides a buttery taste.
Planning on enjoying a dram of whisky for #BurnsNight? Here's a look at the compounds behind the varying smoky and fruity flavours: www.compoundchem.com/2015/03/31/w...
