Searches require a judicial warrant but what actions are authorized by an administrative warrant? Even after reading about them online, I'm not sure exactly what purpose they serve.
In Minnesota you do NOT have to show an ID when you vote unless you are doing election-day voter registration. You tell them who you are; you sign your name (they do a signature match); and you vote.
What Emmer also doesn't tell you is that we Minnesotans voted down a proposed state constitutional amendment that would have required voter IDs. So, at least in Minnesota, this is also the will of the people.

Another note. The police used the presence of the "No Kings" fliers as an indication that he planned to go after people at the protests, which is one of the reasons that encouraged people not to attend. I followed the Kevin Kruse principle though: "Fuck you. Make me!"
With you 100% except for one detail: In Minnesota, we don't register as being affiliated with any particular political party. I'm sure he has left a trail of associations with right-wing anti-abortion causes but you can't get that from his voter registration.

When I was growing up we often got our milk from the farmer's bulk tank - but I don't remember my mother ever staring into anyone's eyes, bovine or human. Seems kind of creepy to this farm boy. Usually there was nobody around. You filled your jug & put the money in a jar sitting on top the tank.
