I am a physics student, just shooting for the moon and hoping I hit the stars (not mars). I love reading and writing as a passion (not just a hobby) and would love to publish someday. I love my husband who is actually the coolest teacher in the world.

More #WitchHatAtelier fanart for the anime release!
It's always such a challenge to mimic the lovely lineart that Shirahama has perfected. My hand was hurting after just one drawing, I don't know how she does a whole manga like this. Pure magic β¨

Carney joins European leaders in criticizing US easing of Russian oil sanctions
I can't believe people act shocked to learn what their own country is like. This is the USA. It's a police state. Stop acting fucking shocked already
Jesus fuck.
For those wondering about what group this is and how to possibly join, they have a webpage along with resources
For those wondering if this is risky, it is
Luckily they have provided information on some of the consequences so that people can learn about the risks

It might be stock manipulation. The same with the on again off again tarrifs. "On the stock market, fear is your enemy, but widespread fear is your opportunity." -Warren Buffet
When stocks plumit, you get to buy them cheap, then they rise and you make more than you spent.
Meanwhile, in Vermontβ¦
People are getting gassed for protesting ICE. Yep, thatβs still going on. America sure is great, isnβt it?

It's more like "wahhh I wanna do race science where I already know the outcome of the experiments I wanna conduct." π
YES!
A proposal to ban new data centers across the country is gaining traction among progressives on Capitol Hill.
The first state in the US to remove statutory protections for an entire class, gender identity, has just enacted a bill preventing local municipalities from having their own protections for trans people.

"Now it's an all-out race among the middle to give the treasury to the top in the hopes of getting a promotion or a raise." Is wickedly spot on. If you haven't, I would recommend reading Pedagogy of the Oppressed by Paulo Freire and The Wolf at the Door by Ian Shapiro.
Good! It's called a negative externality. The US government will feel pressure t9 change course from the people, and business owners ringing their fists the more negative externalities are placed on our systems. Pressure ON.
(4/x) So don't expect red districts in blue states to swing blue quite as hard as you see in red districts. It will still happen to some extent, but don't expect it to be as pronounced.
(3/x) -rings true today for conservative voters. They don't see how blue policies have shielded them from some of the worst affects of the Trump admin (the affects red voters in red districts are now switching sides to inact some sort of shield to protect against themselves).
(2/x) Red voters in blue districts don't compare their lives to the lives of red voters in red districts, they compare their lives today to their lives 5 years ago.
"Are you better off now than you were four years ago?" Ronald Reagan asked voters in the 1980s and it's a sentiment that-
A lot of red districts were hit the hardest by Trump's policies nation wide. Blue districts have been cushioned from the blow, so red voters here in my blue state are not as against Trump as red voters in red districts are.

It's disturbing how much false information there is.

Wtf!?
I think it's more the entire internet that feels depressing. The only edges of the internet that feel drama free are areas of niche interest because less foot traffic. All social media is the hub of internet foot traffic, so best be ready for it when we log in.
It was never about economics. I call it fake outrage, because what they really cared about they knew was social suicide to admit. They hate brown people, black people, lgbtq+ people, and they loved that the Trump admin promised to hurt them.
It sure looks like the Trump administration got cocky after they easily captured the leader of Venezuela, and thought Iran would be just as simple.
They even made "one and done" a slogan of this war. π€¦ββοΈ
This is the guy who likes to downplay non-fatal injuries suffered by US service members in combat.
Good god, just learning that boots might end up in Iran just as I see ICE literally pass me by in my own town.
I hate it here.
NEW: A recently developed Defense Department program was meant to reduce civilian harm during military operations.
But months before the Iran war, the mission was dissolved as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made βlethalityβ a top priority.
