Oh I didn't get all of the story I'm sure, but I liked how cryptic it was. Ended up watching a couple videos on it after I finished the game to see what I had missed.
And yeah that old-school survival horror feel is so prominent throughout. What a game.

Another game I should've played sooner.
The novelty and impact of some of Undertale's aspects weren't there for me at this point, especially because I didn't like it enough to invest in replays which is seemingly where the game shines. I can definitely see why it's so beloved though.

I'll be finishing it as it's not long, but if I'm being honest I'm not loving my time with Undertale.
Definitely not a bad game, but like The Stanley Parable, Journey etc, I think it's a product of its time that gets harmed by overexposure to certain aspects after so many years.

Folks over at discord decided to have a gaming month where you only play games that are 10 years or older, and I thought it'd be fun to join in.
So this is my initial pick for the month. It's arguably one of the most beloved indies of all time so I'm very intrigued to see what the hype is about.
That's fair. Ultimately we have all different views on things, and in my mind what's happening in Gaza and Iran is more pressing to me than anything else by orders of magnitude. But again, we can't expect everyone to see things the way we do, let alone impinge on them who they should boycott.
I don't see it the exact same way. I also find it ironic you keep bringing up nazis yet not once have I seen you condemn her genocide cheer. To paint her as terrible (I agree) it'd be easier to call out her hypocrisy on defending women while being silent on thousands of them being bombed to oblivion
