Great nimble movement and progression, like a mix of Pseudoregalia and A Short Hike. The map is probably too large as the nonlinearity and lack of record-keeping makes going for completion far more tedious than I'd like. Absolutely terribly horrible awful text box kerning.

12. Claire a la Mode (2025)
Short and sweet, like an arcadier version of Curse Crackers only with multiplayer. Takes a few stages until you get used to the movement but it's good from then on. Soundtrack was distractingly ill-fitting since you would expect it to be chiptune from the low-res sprites.

Just as self-indulgent as I had hoped, though that means I had to nod my head through much of the story only kinda understanding the bigger picture. Subspace is also confusing due to everywhere looking the same and some walls vanishing when far away. Really fun combat.

Really great roguelike that taught me MMO raid bosses are actually just gauntlets of warioware microgames. Story was cute and touhouesque. Only played by myself and I can't imagine playing this and successfully coordinating with other people on the higher difficulties.

This game has a dungeon that is literally just 20 randomly generated floors of "hit the switches, get the key, open the door to the next floor, avoid some enemies" and then the boss. If you want to, you can revisit it to try and reach the 50th and 100th floors.

The heavily advertised "core mechanic" has the relevance of a minor Zelda item post-dungeon. Its use rapidly devolves into just a way to turn the camera and see where you're going. It's a completely bog-standard zeldalike, with more bog than usual because everything is green.

I'm a fan of the individual SP puzzles, but the larger scale puzzles with the arg-like elements are where it started to lose me. The central "social battery" gimmick was also cute at first but over time got annoying from how you have to backtrack after every new segment.

last night I dreamt of a new friendslop game where you go to a gigantic abandoned mall filled with ghosts and fill out a shopping list. my group was going into the music section of the not-best buy and using the ingame instruments inside to make an album but we kept getting interrupted by the ghosts
