Good Morning catsinfrance. It seems you indeed first! Good Morning ORCs. Eye test this morning, then popping in to see youngest daughter and grandchildren. A few chores to be completed first however.

I’m very excited about this exhibition and likely to make several visits. I own a couple of Japanese woodblock prints that I’ve bought at the excellent shop on Petergate. My elder daughter is also an enthusiast so hopefully we’ll get to go together. Seems timely as I’m now on my printing course.

Good idea Jude! Have you seen the York EM festival programme. It’s amazing!

2/3 throughout the series is excellent - insightful and excellent. I’ll be interested in what you think. Enjoy!

I was slightly unsure about the first one: I thought the two main characters lacked a bit of credibility but as the series develops the characterisation is developed more than with others in a similar genre. The treatment of neurodiversity, mental health and other very difficult themes 1/2

Did you get a medical view on the cause of her confusion?

I’m loving it! It’s a huge commitment in terms of time and is both really exciting and terrifying as it is well outside my comfort zone. It’s great to be with a group that includes a high % of younger ppl.

With the ORC deal of approval I shall add it to my list. I’m just catching up with the ORCiverse. I hope your weekend visit went as you wished

Morning Clare. I found reading to be the perfect relaxant in these last turbulent weeks. I’ve really enjoyed Wes Makin’s forgotten bodies series and to my astonishment have already completed the first 6 books

Sounds like something to add to my watch list. I find there is too much to watch for the very limited time I spend in front of TV

Have a great break Steve. The S London wildlife will be missing you. I’ve never been to Copenhagen and hope, one day to rectify that.

Good Morning Guy and fellow ORCs. Today I have some personal admin tasks /correspondence and laundry to attend to. The main act will be working in my sketchbook in preparation for the next stage of my course: etching. Have a good day everyone.

I hadn’t until about a month or so ago. I read an article about finding European alternatives to Tech Bros and companies that don’t fund MAGA/ICE. Also I’m increasingly frustrated by the answers I’m looking for being increasingly invisible in a tsunami of adverts. Mojeek app is now on my phone

Instead of Google, which tracks your every thought, may I suggest giving Mojeek a try.
