Excellent question. I don't know the answer because I am not an iOS dev, and I haven't worked with either toolkit. I'll have to dig a bit to figure it out. I was also hoping to prompt discussion to help step through this.

Do you think they post this announcement in a "blog" to temper the impact of a "press release"?
Potential #privacy concerns as Oracle #AI will have access to data of US citizens collected by federal agencies?

Trying to imagine the looks on the faces of the people I worked with at Google in 2018 if you’d told them that in 7 years their flagship product would be sending users to commit terrorism at airports
and that no one will do anything about it

Late night ramble ... I've been writing software since it was punch cards. In that time have had every title including CEO except for marketing. Still write Open Source code. All that said I fear for the millions of tech people the colleges have cranked-out and made us a commodity against AI.

There was sarcasm inherent in my post. In case it was not obvious.

A VC and some big-name programmers are trying to solve open source's funding problem, permanently | TechCrunch
A group of well-known open source programmers and a VC have launched the Open Source Endowment. They hope this new method will provide funding for good.
We just launched the Open Source Endowment, the first endowment dedicated to supporting Open Source maintainers, with $693,000 raised already.
The world depends on Open Source, but making our ecosystem sustainable is a complex task. I hope that, with community consultation, the Endowment can help 🙏

This mind-bending relativity illusion has never been seen—until now.
Using ultrafast lasers and a 300-picosecond camera, researchers at the University of Vienna and Vienna University of Technology visualized the rotating Terrell-Penrose effect, an effect of special relativity.

I bought an SLR camera (not dSLR, FILM) that had been on a trip to the Galapagos many moons ago, in the hope that it would take ME there one day as it might want to go back.
Haven't made it yet.

I was so happy when I learned about state transitions in Physics. 🙃 Don't think I was wearing bunny slippers that day.

That is a perfectly reasonable observation. Another reasonable observation is that the majority of the public are not likely aware of how data is being collected, collated, and used in practice.
Philosophically, one could call it a defense against privacy violations. 🤔

And it is JUST THAT SIMPLE to accommodate #accessibility. It really doesn't have to be a great and mighty battle. One person decides to be a good human and make another person's day easier. Done.

It can be built in to #code and #UX too. #Design for #a11y

Color photograph of Jennifer Doudna, the Nobel Prize-winning biochemist (2020 Chemistry Nobel, shared with Emmanuelle Charpentier for co-inventing CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology). She's a professor at UC Berkeley, a pioneer in molecular biology, and one of the most influential scientists alive today. The portrait captures her in a more recent, casual style: shoulder-length silver-gray hair, bright blue eyes, warm smile, wearing small pearl earrings and a textured maroon/reddish-brown zip-up jacket over a lighter top, set against a plain light gray background.
The first all-female team to share a Nobel Prize in science: biochemists Jennifer Doudna & Emmanuelle Charpentier.
They won the 2020 #Nobel Prize in #Chemistry "for the development of a method for genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9)." Jennifer Doudna was born #OTD in 1964.
