It's so difficult though especially with people who already watch wrestling but not DDT?? It seems like they are always saying "Wow I wish wrestling would do (thing DDT has been doing for years)"

Looking at this photo makes me so pleased with my eye color choice. You can really see it gleaming!

Leo, a huge red lion figurehead, perched on a pair of old wooden sawhorses. The entire top of his mane has been covered in gold leaf, along with the edges near his face and a lot of the upper right area. His eyes are also gold leaf. A bunch of spars and ropes are piled up behind him.

Another shot of Leo from further away. Still making good progress on the gold mane, but today I decided to focus on details and edges. I'll be back at it again soon, after a short break for a hospital trip 👍

Today's Leo progress. And a reveal - he now has gold eyes! I decided to change his eye color this year, and gold seemed like the obvious choice. I'll adjust the way they look as I go, but I already like how this is going.

If I forget to wear gloves while I'm applying the glue for the gold leaf, and then I get glue on my fingers, and then I apply gold leaf, this also results in me gold-leafing my own fingers lol
