You seem to have forgotten that there’s always someone stronger than you who could be saying exactly the same thing to you.
If someone’s on a bike ride with you, they’re a cyclist.

You’re right. Doing neither is definitely the best course of action, but because a lot of drivers can’t seem to keep their car in a straight line and out of the spaces reserved for people bikes, we need things like the concrete slab. It’s not a risk for any competent driver
