You can argue the merits of deporting Marcelo—a young man brought here at age 5—if you want to. But this is someone we should be proud to call American. He’s solid on every level. And if you’re really a Christian, you should be lifting him up, not casting him out.

Listen w/an open mind—and heart.

House Republicans just voted to make it harder for elderly & disabled Granite Staters to vote absentee.

No printer? No notary? No ride?

❌ NO BALLOT.

This is voter suppression—plain and simple. #NHPolitics

VICTORY: NH Lawmakers in both chambers voted against legislative provisions in HB 10 and SB 72 that could have banned confidential birth control for Granite Staters under the age of 18. This is a win for bodily autonomy and personal, private medical decision-making. #nhpolitics

Some good news. SB54—a bill that would have raised penalties for people suspected of DUI who refuse a chemical test that was inexplicably amended by GOP lawmakers to include mandatory firearms safety training for K-12 public school kids—was tabled Thursday in the NH House. #NHPolitics

Education Freedom Accounts Expanded by House The House once again voted to expand the Education Freedom Account program, opening it to any New Hampshire child regardless of his or her parents’ income.

Get out your wallets folks. Wealthy people want subsidies from taxpayers like you to send their kids to private schools. On Thursday, our GOP-majority legislature decided that they’re going to get them—and you’re going to pay for them. #NHPolitics indepthnh.org/2025/06/05/e...

The extra-extreme members of the House Budget Committee voted "present" tonight so that the Medicaid-cuts-to-fund-tax-giveaways-for-the-rich bill could pass out of committee 17-16.

Tomorrow, flood Capitol Hill switchboards to voice your opposition to this monstrosity.

Sure, let’s dissect the mental and physical acuity of the former president who sought to make lives in America better while minimizing the reality of a deranged arsonist dismantling the country we’ve known and loved. What a failure to meet this moment.

Great Replacement Theory in action…

On day one, Donald Trump suspended the refugee settlement admissions program. But now he’s giving white Afrikaners U.S. citizenship because they “could be assimilated easily into our country”?

This isn’t a dog whistle—it’s a freaking bullhorn!

Why I’m Resigning from the NSF and Library of Congress I cannot participate in systems that require dishonesty as the price of belonging.

"For me, the answer now lies in refusal, the withdrawal of participation from systems that require dishonesty as the price of belonging."

Today I am resigning from the National Science Board and the Library of Congress Scholars Council.

I wrote about my decision in TIME.

Paul, Weiss and Skadden: Capitulating Cowards of the Legal Profession Some firms have caved to Trump’s blatantly unconstitutional demands. Others have stood and fought. We know which ones deserve our admiration.

OK patriots, "each fat-cat firm that caves in response to Trump’s demands makes next capitulation that much easier, & puts the whole industry more firmly under Trump’s thumb."

Looking at the flow of posts about Tr*mp's #tariffs and utterly staggered by how anyone could be that much of an incompetently spoiled narcissist, to bankrupt a country because they're throwing a tantrum...

...oh wait, no I'm not.

This is awful, and utterly terrifying. My love to my friends...

@washingtonpost.com and @nytimes.com apparently don’t find it newsworthy that the nation’s public health infrastructure was summarily imploded yesterday, a move which will kill untold thousands of Americans and sicken and immiserate millions more.

Cory Booker is STILL going. This is what resisting fascism looks like.

I don’t care if it’s not a “real” filibuster. Booker is taking drastic action to show his constituents that they are not alone. More of this, please.
