You misspelled expensive.....

I can't remember if you've ever been to Ireland (if not, you really should!!!!) but the accent in Newfoundland has a lot of similarities, thanks to the number of Irish emigrants over the years.

I didn't leave the UK after Brexit despite all the demonisation migrants like myself got - I just chose to only spend my time with the good people (I've not given money to wetherspoons for years!). My life was better staying here. For now I'm applying the same logic with the USA.

I had to book it early last year because they sell out so fast. If I cancel, I'll lose a four figure sum in deposits and flights - and achieve nothing except personal misery. Don't like it, but as it stands I don't feel like I have much choice.

First weekday of a block of AL - so I'm down in London ticking off some needed track (as you do) and also taking a photo of my favourite British station name of all time as I pass through (as you also do!).

I figured I should make a post to show I'm real - so here's a throwback to last summer when we borrowed His Majesty's trainset to haul a knackered 67 back to Crewe ETD for repairs. Only drove it a mile but it was fun to tick off!
