Azul now has a brand new timing chain and runs really well (other than the noisy racing cam but I'm used to it now) I've removed his body panels temporarily to get the welded brackets for the sidecar removed

We might even see new panels in the future

With the ongoing fuel prices skyrocketing to new heights due to the war, there's gonna be some changes here

1. Tesco is now being put to storage until further notice and parts
2. Azul will now be the current project and daily driver as for now
3. The RS100 will be on standby

The spoke nipples we use here are commonly made out of zinc coated steel sometimes anodized like the gold ones, I've already found 5 zinc coated ones and you can barely tell the difference between the two from afar unless you're really looking for it

We just need to find 5 more of the small gold things that screw on the spokes because one of the sets doesn't have enough

Finally got the gasket between the crankcase and block now Azul feels slightly more powerful with just the 53mm block and modified head from Tesco

Still not sure what to do with the carb side, maybe just a slight increase to 24mm

Well, that didn't go as planned #motosky

I warped a dowel pin on the stock block intended for Tesco and I tore the base gasket between the cylinder block and crankcase for the 53mm right after the shops closed for today

Well, Azul is gonna be the one used more frequently soon and I don't want Tesco's parts just sitting all the time collecting dust when I'm training

Would it be wise to switch the 53mm block and cylinder head from Tesco to Azul and the stock from Azul to Tesco?

A vice versa if you will, but keeping the carburetor on their specific chassis (28mm Tesco / 20mm Azul)

We cancelled the last order of spokes and ordered from a different seller that has the same style, might take a few extra days to arrive here

And here's what they look like in person (the shop has the wrong size but correct color)

The spokes are still not being shipped out, within 2 days we might cancel it and order from a different seller

I've also moved the side mirrors more towards the outside so I can actually see past my arm

The handlebars and the side mirror holders arrived first, put them on with temporary grips once I figured out how to take off the other one stuck on the old bar, I also swapped Azul and Tesco's seats for better seating position on both

Now that I've basically completed Tesco's journey and is now gonna be the weekend wanted runner, his younger brother Azul is finally getting the spotlight after a long time

In his case it'll be more legal oriented and daily focused as an all rounder

So I know how to unscrew the nut that holds the magneto, but the problem is I can't pull away the magneto itself from the crank without a puller, and getting one is kinda out of my budget

I was in the modified category, I took 3rd place since it was just us 3 in that category

I'm finishing all the major things I need to do for Tesco's preparations for our first motor show tomorrow afternoon

Tomorrow morning I'm gonna do the final touches before leavingto the show

This was my neighbor's first bike bought new from the mid 1980s about 20 ish years before I was born

I asked if I could tinker with it to try and revive it since it's been sitting there as long as I could remember
