Ballpark…she f’ing can’t even get her story straight on the number of injured soldiers in this regime’s war.
Ballpark…
We know that emergency managers are critically important but aren’t often thought about until after tragedy strikes.
We are building a source network to fuel in-depth coverage of the nation’s emergency preparedness.

I would do anything to be able to lay down and take a nap. I hate how early the flights come in - at this point, I’ve had no sleep since Saturday night and I’m…so…tired.
#ResearchCoffee #1 of the trip. I have a few hours before grabbing my bus. Nowhere to go quickly!
Border Agent:
Why are you here?
Me: going to Belfast
Agent: (flips through passport)…you are here a lot…
Me: yes, yes I am
So…so…foolish. I would have BUST OUT LAUGHING if I’d been in that pub!
🤬🤬🤬🤬
Only a MAGA voter who had not a one f-ing clue about the history and current issues on that island. What a fool.
For the holiday, our family “joke” gifts were animal t-shirts. Somehow I got the travelling otter so, of course, that is my attire as I journey to Belfast.
The location of the plaque that was just hung, is in a place that it will not be visible to the public. While I am thankful for this first step, our lawsuit continues until they plaque is hung in accordance with the law.
There are so many people in power right now whose names will live only as a legacy of their evil.
Everyone should read this.
Staff at the nation’s largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility have placed bets on which detainee will be the next to die by suicide, according to new reporting from the Associated Press based on 911 calls and detainee accounts.
This is disgusting, but also a tacit admission of just how horrible and indefensible it is.

Thanks - I’ll have to poke around. I just saw an article that says viewers can choose.
You might have just saved my F1 2026 season.
Yeah, I was just in my fantasy world.
At this point, I would pay anything to have a better option than what is currently offered on Apple TV. To be honest, I hope this all goes horribly wrong - I can’t imagine how many viewers they’ve cut off. I want the old analyst crew.
How? All I have is the old F1 TV crew…are there multiple broadcasts?
One of my pre-flight favorite activities?
Making my travel playlist.
If I were #skysports right now, I would be considering offering an “international viewer plan”…just think, AppleTV is $13/month. I would pay that, or even more just to get back to having the #F1 Sky Sports team I’ve grown to need for analysis, especially @berniecollins.bsky.social!
In all fairness, it makes perfect sense, and has plenty of historical precedent, we just don't like the parallels it requires.
Utterly reprehensible, irresponsible, and nonsensical.
On this day in 1983, Tears For Fears released their brilliant debut studio album “The Hurting” featuring singles "Mad World" "Change" "Pale Shelter" and "Suffer the Children"
Really kind of morally offensive how much contempt these people have for curiosity.
Many thanks to @saraheminnisphd.bsky.social for the hours of online #academicwriting accountabilibuddy work over the past few days.
If you don’t have one, find a buddy to Zoom while you are working (video on, audio off) & set a timer. Then check in!
Keep that human contact going!
Raise your hand if this song just gets you grooving and also to the point of tears.
Sometimes just thinking about all those on the “nightshift” hits you.
Ha! Thanks - I know it’s dumb, but in our increasingly isolated, inhuman world, I just like the idea of saying, hey, I’m enjoying this cup of coffee! As annoying as the food/meal shots might have been at the time, I miss the aspects of old social media we’ve lost forever (while keeping the worst).
There is no replacement for humans.
The more we normalize harms of inhuman experiences - shopping to healthcare to education - the more we damn ourselves into an end that will not be a good one. No AI will bring us back from that.
We need to talk about this, openly, honestly, & as HUMANS. (END)
Look, for those who’ve been like, “get used to AI,” hear me. Fine. I get it. I’m GenX. I’ve seen change.
What we can’t normalize dehumanization. We can’t normalize fraud. We can’t normalize being made a “fool” (sure, yeah, “we’re” based in the US).
Our society is eroding in horrific ways. 12/X
