All his tweets mean nothing. They are desperate yelps of his bottomless ego for validation that never comes. There is no reason to acknowledge them.
Real recovery is dropping the armor and examining our fear of facing the world without our false fronts made from a web of lies. It is the hardest human task, and most of us leave it till we’re forced to face it on our deathbed. If ego remains, we remain cripples, reaching for a fix.

The addiction recovery world is a valiant fight that never confronts its real villain - our ego. We placate it and dance around it in AA/NA, but it ends producing dry-drunks, people who quit substances but not the habitual grasping for what generates addiction - our egos and their endless storylines
