Freeing up some space on my phone so deleting old pics. Amazing how many pics of labels I had taken just to enlarge them so I could actually see what they said.

23 hours later, bruised cheek, can't open my jaw and ear is ringing.
The fillings were likely 40 years old, 2 molars beside each other and what felt like at the back of my head.

Went shopping today.

I thought for a moment it was ok...but as I started to make the 2nd one I realized I forgot the baking powder in the first.
Dammit!
It's ok - but not as fluffy so off to make the 3rd.
I'll keep the first, albeit a bit flat. (it's still good)

Making 1 of 2 carrot cakes for Thanksgiving. Panic has set in. Did I put in 2 cups of flour or 3? I think I put 3. I only needed 2. I hope I don't have a do-over pending......
Guess I'll find out in 20 minutes when I pull the first one out of the oven.

My tired eyes saw strawberries and bananas.

Pre-making 100 meatballs for thanksgiving (mixing rolling, baking - you get the idea) after getting both my Covid & flu shots today (one in each arm) was not the best planned out schedule of events for the day.
Arms both hurt and have a headache. But those meatballs ain't gonna roll themselves...

I was today's year old when I realized the "pina" in pina colada meant pineapple.
