Frieren: Beyond Journey's End S1

Really love the wholesome dynamic between Frieren and Fern.

It's a Master-Apprentice relationship, yes, but it also has vibes of a Mother-Daughter relationship...in both ways (Frieren is nominally the "Mother" but sometimes Fern has to be the mom as she herself points out)

The whole "character who dies at the beginning but haunts the entire narrative" is uhhh kinda relatable on a personal level. Not gonna go over more details.

I have to say it's impacting me much more now than it did back then.
