Lost track of the number of times I’ve been told “nobody really knows that person” as a rejection to a historical pitch. And I’m like “yeah… which is why we should write it.” 🤷♂️
Every time someone tells me there’s no audience for historical content, I assume that person lacks the courage to give their own audience credit for being intellectually curious.
Documentaries do well. No reason well-written histories can’t do the same.

- He was an Olympic Auditorium regular.
- He was the man behind Fred Blassie's "Pencil Neck Geek" record.
- He produced the Andy Kaufman classic "My Breakfast With Blassie," after which his sister, Lynne, became Andy's girlfriend.

Excellent! My old hometown. I went on the same day as the annual hot air balloon rally. You can faintly see the balloons flying behind the outfield.
That is awesome. By the way, not sure if it’s on your itinerary, but I took in a Binghamton Rumble Ponies game about a month ago. Not far from ‘Cuse.
