What can Dems do as a minority party? Plenty - first step is to not help MAGA in any way, shape, or form. Stop approving nominees. Make republicans own everything.

For a while I didn’t want to pick on Fetterman as it’s obvious that he’s had some pretty severe physical and mental issues.

Well, we all knew this war was an epic (fury) clusterfuck but this thread by
Senator Murphy confirms it. This man-child admin has no clue what they are doing. They are pretty good, though, at getting civilians killed.

Unfortunately, I can believe that number. You have about 25-30% of US who are ride and die MAGA cultists who may not like the war but will always support Trump. Add in another 10% consisting of non-MAGA Republicans and some Dems who always support a president in foreign wars no matter what.

Trump appears to have a fetish for killing people and seeing them killed via video. Fetishes escalate as the person needs greater and greater stimulation. The ultimate killing fetish for Trump is the use of a nuke. He so wants to use one.

I doubt support will/can go much lower. Take the hard-core cultists, add in Repubs and Dems that feel you must always support a president in a foreign war and you have about 40-50% of the electorate who are incapable of critical thinking & who could successfully keep us involved with Iran for years.

Kudos to Eaton. He’s one of the few retired generals or senior staff that speaks out regularly. Many more could take a cue from him. But I’m also a bit afraid that too many are Trumpets.

I agree that elections can’t be stolen. But it only takes some “irregularities” in a few critical precincts in a few critical swing states to put the outcome of general election into the courts. And, as we saw in the 2000 election, the courts are suspect.

And though most of us will vote blue in the elections -no matter what - it still can piss us off that too many Dem politicians know that we have only one option and don’t give it their all and can afford to leave in the dream world of everything will return to normal once Trump’s gone.

But John Fetterman thinks MarkWayne’s a quality guy so what’s to debate 🙄

Moody is a sycophantic idiot. Trump ripped up the agreement we had with Iran to limit their nuclear capabilities and then used the lack of an agreement as a pretext (well, one of many - pick your fav of the day🙄) to justify starting a war and killing people.

I’ve said countless times that Republicans have been racist, xenophobic, and misogynistic for at least the 70+ yrs I’ve been around. It’s just that w/ Trump they now have permission to be out of the closet & openly public with it. They ain’t going back in. Ever. Dems need to understand that.
