Cash feels free! Plus it was a trip to the city so in my head any money I spend there doesn’t count because it wasn’t in my town 😆
They’re such lovely colours and a nice soft wool. I can’t wait to turn them into a beanie

I also take cash out at the self checkout at supermarkets so it feels like part of the grocery budget when I get myself a lil treat at a cafe 😆
The colours are gorgeous!
I got a tattoo and used some of the leftover cash to go to the fancy yarn store. Which basically means these were free 🧶
Had a go at turning a colourwork chart for a knit sweater into a beanie. I found the pattern at an op shop, as always 🧶 I also played yarn chicken at the end, which is why I switched back to the cc
I found a vintage tin at an op shop that is perfect for my new cross stitching supplies (plus a peek at my project)
Thank you!!! I’m so happy with how they turned out. And the beetle is so cute 🥰
I’ve designed some bug themed crochet and knit project trackers! The physical pads are still in testing, but the beetle stickers are up! 🧶 🪲
The stickers and free PDF downloads are available on my site www.ko-fi.com/practicemake...
My local library is hosting weekly craft groups next month 🥰
Final battle
Three weeks ago a thunderstorm combined with loose roof tiles made my ceiling leak through the light socket onto my bed & I had to throw out a bunch of stuff. Today my state is on fire and I’ve gotta pray the winds are kind to my town. What a wild time
A cowl being knit in pooling yarn with back and Rainbow color speckles lying on the pattern with the yarn wound in a cake.
I needed a less complicated project to work on, so I cast on a Depth cowl in The Fiber Seed's Sprout Sock in Neon Lights.

knitters choice for #showmeyourknits there are so many amazing knits being shared! I knit a Robin, 😆
For the year-end #ShowMeYourKnits wrap-up, I’m particularly proud of my first-ever knitted sweater. It was an early 2025 finish but still counts!
Also the Ultimate Lesbian Hat was pretty fun to design. I ended up making three for various lesbian friends
I’m designing some project tracker notepads 🙏 for crochet and knit projects 🧶
Yarn bug 🧶 🪲
Almost finished this #knit finger weight sweater, right? 😅 🧶
It can be hard to find queer friendly groups
As a transmasc I’m also tackling the idea of women’s spaces no longer being accessible to me
I never even considered asking! I’m in the library weekly 😅 Thank you. Next time I’m there I’ll definitely inquire about upcoming craft groups and what the process of having the knitting one reinstated could be (perhaps under a broader term so it’s not knitting exclusive)
They ran one last year and I was planning on joining this year but the group got canceled 😭
I forgot to specify I meant irl craft groups. My bad!
I’m very active in the makers & crafting category on twitch 😆 I’m just hoping for irl craft groups too 🙏
I swear whenever I look up crafting groups on Facebook they’re either inactive or women only 😭 I just wanna meet new people while I knit and crochet 🧶

I got some pictures of my Ravenwood Dragon Cloak in daylight, although not ideal pics of me necessarily. I'm very happy that I added the extra repeats, as I like the fit.

Teaching myself #knit colourwork. I think my floats are looking pretty good for a first attempt 🧶
If it was printed in colour I imagine it would be a deep red 😆 a very important caution warning
I’m maybe 1/4 done, but I’ve been enjoying it!
Well… enjoying it this time since I now have the correct stitch count… I was 1/3 of the way through a panel before I realised
A #knit pattern I found at an op shop. Possibly from the 70s 🧶
