So... turns out... my chest doesn't line up with the chest on my 3D model of Ann... because her boobs are, like... impossibly huge. I was wondering why her nipples, in VR, seemed to be where my belly button is, in real life... and that's because they are. They're, like, twice the side of her head!
See, I really thought I was doing everything right, vis a vis rendering it so the 3D effect was at the "proper scale" - but no matter what I tried, the viewer character's chest always seemed too far away in first-person, even though I could put their hand in front of their face and have it perfect.
I posted an update on SubscribeStar about my initial forays into making 360º 3D VR animations in Blender, but, just as an addendum, I just had a... kind of hilarious? Or... sad...? ...realisation.
