If the box makes it simple to have in the living room and just go that's actually a big deal for your casual player intimidated by the PC. And of course the cost to entry is still lower If it's a home box (Monitor, MKB, Wires, Speakers, Headset, Desk, windows and power consumption
I think what's most exciting about these machines is plug and play. Consoles are often more attractive because you don't have to optimize anything in order to play. Especially with those funky drivers.
Umm, if I can play my Xbox, Steam, and other platforms on a user-friendly box - Ima do that. Yes that is what Steam is Making but if I can play my largest library in one place I'm gonna take it.
