All I’ve got is “you knotty tree”. My office today.

I once visited a house where the family had built a central area with a large dining room and kitchen and TV room. Off of that room they had their own house. They could all get together in the central area or live independently in their own home.

Today is the weariest of gray rainy days today. Trying to change the trajectory of my mood. 🌱

Downsizing at the elder’s included Fiesta ware! I filled in some missing plates in my colors and an added a serving in sunflower cuz, why not. Then questioning the why, I purchased 4 servings more plus one and 2 serving dishes. A bit like 🧶 buying!

It’s not often planes fly from west to east over my house. It struck me as so odd to see this plane today.

My yarn order had a few glitches, partially my fault, in getting the order fulfilled, but there’s something satisfying to see it move in one day from the east coast to the west coast! 🧶 Thanks Apple Yarns! Bellingham, WA

Downsize of the elder's home started. Weirdness, different opinions on managing the process, access requests from distant relations. It's such a strange deal. The last I was involved in was set up so well. 5 rooms, 5 children, no spouses, draw numbers & pick by turn, sell & done. Smooth & fair!

The pattern is called Camp Along and the final product is a blanket.

Listening to a snippet of the news today. Talking about gas prices going up $.12 a gallon and how that’s such a large increase. In OR it’s increased by $.40-$.60 a gallon in the last 2 weeks roughly. It’s about to go over four dollars a gallon I shopped for a steak the other day and it was $23/lb. 🤯
