I remember that time I didn't see it in my garden. What a day that was
Found this website this morning, useful as a starting point if youβre trying to boycott American goods and services, which we absolutely all should!

This petition is now less than 3K short of getting a govt. response. Pls sign/share if you think we should hold a public inquiry into Russian interference in our democracy. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/74...

For too long, the UK press have bullied people, harassed grieving families, and destroyed lives, all to sell papers. It's time to hold them to account.
You can support the campaign to change the law by signing the petition hereππ

What a message it would send to the far right in this country, if Gary Lineker were to win best presenter?
Please vote and repost.
Weβre going up at a rate of 700 signatures an hour currently. In the time it took me to boil the kettle it went up by 50. Keep the message in minds folks. Fair coverage is what we want so we hear from ALL parties not just the narrative of one. Sign and pass on petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

Fed up of the media, of all types chasing clicks and pageview, but ignoring honesty, truth and accuracy?
We have had someone at the Guardian recently confirm they chase the metrics and ignore stories they deem won't get them.
This is not OK.
We need to improve how we regulate all our media.
My favourite tariff.
Another on of those stupid Express polls. You know what to do.

More than 43,000 have now used our tool to complain to Ofcom about this loathsome GB News clip. We are approaching the 58,000 that would make it the most complained about ever segment of TV news. action.goodlawproject.org/ofcom-stop-g...
The Daily Mail lied about the extent of illegal immigration. It printed this meagre apology.
The media must be forced to print apologies for lies in a large format in a location and at a time where and when the maximum number of people are going to see it.
A deeply disappointing government response to @wildjustice.bsky.socialβs petition on banning driven grouse shooting, that even cites bullshit stats from the shooting industry
Please sign the petition, letβs get it to 100k and force a proper debate: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...
We are happy to announce that we moved from X to here and our X account will be discontinued. Please do follow us and spread the word. This change will not amend our mission to share the most up-to-date and insightful scholarship on the European Convention on Human Rights!
Farewell Twitter www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/01... I planned to stay on Twitter until 20 January. But Musk has made that impossible. I won't be posting there again while he runs the show. This is now my main social media outlet.
Another Express poll in need of more input... you know what to do!
(Link goes straight to the quiz, bypassing the main website, so you won't be boosting their ad impressions. Ignore the request for an email address - it's optional.)

Now I so don't do sportsball, but this is absolutely fucking class! Well done @explodingheads.bsky.social!
Not exactly - the dispute relates to whether the UK was *complying with free movement law in 2020* - the impact upon those subsequently covered by the withdrawal agreement being indirect. A dispute solely about the withdrawal agreement would have gone initially to arbitration, not the CJEU.
