Nice work James!
Nice work James!
Itβs a real corker!
On two occasions I rolled for a heroic action (6) and a Landser with a Panzerfaust broke cover and destroyed a T-34. A first in our games! All our Mk IVβs were destroyed leaving several T-34βs to pound our infantry in the villages. Game over.
At my end of the board our Mk IVβs were struggling to destroy T-34βs only damaging them, whereas they were destroying us. Chrisβs SMG battalion advanced on my village and was subsequently wiped out by small weapons and mortar fire.
Last night the White Rock Group played a made up scenario of Rapid Fire Reloaded Russian Front. The scenario was Germans hold 3 villages, Soviets take them. I played German using a battalion of Wehrmacht 20mm figures I painted up. The Russians rolled where to come on. They showed up behind our lines
It was!
Here in the wet coast, thereβs been a lot of rain, weβve had two atmospheric rivers come through. Fortunately, we do not live in the valley where itβs flooded.
Weβre doing OK.
The Carthaginians moved in front of the Romanβs blocking their path to safety, melee ensued and enough Roman heavy units were destroyed to win the game.
Catching one Roman unit in road march and destroying it.
The battle continued and I managed to all but destroy the Legion in front of me. I did lose 2 units of Gauls.
I was very fortunate to play in Chris Leachβs Lake Trasimene game last night. Ruleset Control to Catastrophe by Chris Leach. Here are a few photos of the game. The Carthaginians boiled out of the woods, while the Gauls commanded by myself waited a turn. Then off we went!
This photo is Canadians fighting the Nazis in the Battle of Britain.
We were a poor country of 11 million people. We built the 4th largest air force and navy in the world.
When the Brits were being evacuated at Dunkirk we were already defending her shores.

Hi Norma, I was thinking about you a couple of days ago and your post popped up! How are you?
When it came to the women in history we couldnβt be contained in the 150 person limit when I did it, so we had a part 2 for those wanting to network to the max
Grand looking game!
Very Nice James.
Bases finished. I go to conventions so the bases keep the models from banging into each other. Waiting on crew from AB Miniatures.
