When last heading west we stopped off in The Woolpack in Slad. I tried this, which one of the locals told me was “our version of of London Pride” - Uley Bitter and it was just delicious - ever tried it, Harry?

It’s incredible that there’s 18 pubs in town, and with the exception of one (which is a Hall & Woodhouse) all the others serve Harvey’s Best. Even the Greene King and Fuller’s pubs have it on.
