It happened *again*. I get Konflikt '47 curious, and there's @sonicsledgehammer.bsky.social producing laser-targeted content for my interests.
Need to sweep my house for bugs again, this is getting out of hand.
I’ll be back when they have enough pride merch to cause MAGA dudes to crash out again.
One person explained it well as any money you save, someone will need. A brother, a parent, a friend or relative. Someone will be in crisis and will look to your savings for help.
It will never be “yours”, so why not spend it?
I'm excited to announce my new position as Lead Discomfort Visionary at the Vertex Institute.
"The Turkeyman" by Bad Squddo in black and white
I paint my Silver Bayonet monsters, etc. in a black and white scheme, both because it's very fast for producing lots of NPCs, etc., but also because it's got this nice visual effect of asking "Is any of this actually real?"
This time, the Turkey Man by @badsquiddogames.bsky.social
When I joined as the head engineer of the Torment Nexus project, it was to work on fascinating technical problems and make the world a better place along the way. I am appalled to discover that the Torment Nexus would be used this way and, now that my options have vested, will be leaving the project

Final dispensation of Escort Group B1. 185,000 tons of shipping lost, and a somewhat excessive 67 U-boats sunk.

@badsquiddogames.bsky.social addressing my perennial complaint that not enough historical figure lines have people shitting themselves to death with dysentery.
10/10, no notes, perfect 0200 Hours minis.
The Diameter Of The Bomb The diameter of the bomb was thirty centimeters and the diameter of its effective range about seven meters, with four dead and eleven wounded. And around these, in a larger circle of pain and time, two hospitals are scattered and one graveyard. But the young woman who was buried in the city she came from, at a distance of more than a hundred kilometers, enlarges the circle considerably, and the solitary man mourning her death at the distant shores of a country far across the sea includes the entire world in the circle. And I won’t even mention the crying of orphans that reaches up to the throne of God and beyond, making a circle with no end and no God.

Discworld QOTD, from Thief of Time
If you turn the painted dirt roads I did for my club over, they are *all manner* of pastel colors from using up a bunch of sample coils I got.
Begging one wargaming table company to make a table not tailored to GW's weird, non-standard dimensions.
Best case, the folks playing 6'x4' games can use your table too. Worst case, the 40K folks have a spot to put their drinks.
Everybody wins.
One and a half hour meeting and I start getting ideas.
The fact this sketch is STILL relevant hurts

"But small creators can't afford real artists for full motion video, so we need AI!"
So don't have full motion video. I'd rather have your genuine, heartfelt creation on blog form, or staged pictures with miniatures, or a rough drawing of the battlefield that's *yours* rather than Extruded Product.
Whether it's a good game or not (a review is in the works), the campaign for Atlantic Sentinels has nailed the feeling of commanding a convoy escort group.
It's nearly midnight and I'm staring at a chart just hoping we can get to Halifax without incident.
A thing I don't get about skirmish games is people's insistence that skirmish forces mirror the makeup of the larger army.
This isn't a representative sample of the main army. It's twenty dudes foraging, or your commander and his buds headed to a wedding, or whatever. It's inherently skewed.
