Yeah artists who actually innovated and pushed boundaries like the Beatles and Bowie (🥰) will have a longer lasting impact. Elvis was a great performer but wasn’t as innovative musically
interesting to consider the cultural half-life of celebrities. I was born a year after Elvis died, but references to him in pop culture were still very normal. I don't think that's been the case for a while now.

i'm a classical social democrat. i think we should raise tax on the upper tax brackets, increase broad-based tax enforcement, and provide universal programs on transit, housing, and healthcare. this apparently is viewed as neoliberalism
