A recent EuroHealthNet-CHAIN report shows in the last decade, Europe has not bridged the gap between those living healthily and those not given the opportunity to.

Living longer and living healthier are intrinsically linked to those who have, and those who don’t.

Contrairement aux clichés, le télétravail ne traduit pas un désengagement, mais une adaptation à des conditions de vie et de travail dégradées. Deux réalités expliquent cette aspiration. D’une part, la difficile intégration des nouvelles générations dans le monde du travail, avec un niveau de vie en berne face à la flambée des loyers. D’autre part, la dégradation des conditions de travail sur site. Flex office [sans bureau fixe], bruit, management autoritaire et vertical sont autant de facteurs de stress, d’anxiété et de burn-out. Le télétravail permet d’y échapper. Une étude du ministère du travail, publiée en novembre 2024, souligne que les télétravailleurs sont globalement en meilleure santé que les autres salariés. A l’inverse, le discours patronal sur une prétendue baisse de productivité n’est appuyé par aucune étude sérieuse. Dans une période où un arrêt de travail long sur deux pour troubles psychiques concerne une personne de moins de 40 ans, selon le datascope d’Axa en 2025, priver, sans fondement, les télétravailleurs d’une organisation bénéfique pour leur santé est vécu comme une rupture de confiance. C’est la démonstration flagrante d’une radicalité patronale qui privilégie contrôle et profit, au détriment de la qualité de vie des salariés.
