Narrator: ‘It hasn’t‘
And it doesnt just taint things YOU say in the future, but THE WHOLE argument in that direction.
It’s so stupid/lazy and really infuriating.
Were these the people that used SUV typical dimensions from the American market to argue against them a few months ago When talking about pedestrian impact deaths/risks?
There are good, sensible arguments against (particularly the largest) SUVs in cities without resorting to lies/twisted data.
This looks like What Did You Do Yesterday through the ages! Greg would be a great person to have on

They can wear faster. But important to remember EVs don’t need to be heavy, certainly not heavier than ICE. My i3 weighs 1300kg.
No one complained about brake and tyre pollution before EVs. Whilst that is an issue for all cars it’s a distant second compared to carcinogens and air pollution from ICE
Proper car. Like a diesel X5. 🙄
I haven’t been ‘ICED’ like that for ages. I thought the morons had got bored and/or moved on to another group to be dicks to.
That’s too reductive, although EVs can be heavier, regenerative braking means they barely use their brakes and therefore produce far less brake dust (pollution).
Love the podcast, please don’t use AI generated images tho!
If someone chooses their (brand new) car based on colour, then they deserve a Micra over an R5. 🤣
A colleague has just taken delivery of a midnight blue R5, that’s a lovely colour.
Exactly. If the Micra works for you as a car, the R5 can only be better from an ownership point of view.
I don’t see why anyone would choose a Micra over an R5, but maybe it’s just that pragmatism of a good car that suits someone who isn’t interested in that extra 10% of detail/fun.
Comparison wise I’d say 7. Fundamentally the exact same car, but without the ‘surprise and delight’ details of the R5 that make you love a car.
As did I. US spec headlights threw me
It’s not just the brands, but the different names those brands call it for different markets:

I think the orange on the indicator is a marker light, showing it’s a US version.
My mother lives on the west hill. There is frequently different weather in the front and back gardens. Bizarre, brilliant place.
Sorry, wasnt meant to be condescending, meant it more for others.
So much domestic comfort and internal air quality can be dealt with by lots of small, free (or at least very cheap) measures that should be the first steps, then absolutely do things like insulate of you can.
This is Seb. Stubborn, lazy, adorable, clumsy clown:
Additionally, if you’re having condensation mould issues, insulating the wall which gets the mould only moves the issue to the next coldest spot.

Put lids on saucepans, turn on bathroom extractor fans when showering, use a dehumidifier if you must dry clothes indoors.
Mine is also due in september, I emailed them earlier this week.
Although I only had to wait 6 weeks last summer for them to fit Evolve dampers (a good upgrade to the ride if/when your dampers needs replacing).
I’ve owned, and loved, both, there is a not insignificant number i3 owners who have previously owned A2s.
i3 very much feels like the successor to A2.
I parked next to a yellow colour storm A2 in the supermarket a few months ago, I think I alarmed the owner with my enthusiasm for his car.
Be warned, if you do want to use their services, you need to book literally months in advance. But service is excellent.
Welcome! By far the best car I’ve ever owned. Can I recommend Wisely Automotive, i3 experts who come to you for servicing and have an excellent YouTube channel for i3 nerdery.
Ben Wheatley‘s 1984.
I saw Rob Auton last month in Hastings. He was brilliant. Reminded me of Daniel Kitson for his story telling and unique style, which is the very strongest of praise.
