Spare cables? I still have the USB cable for the turn of the century Sharp GX10i flip-phone I used to have. I haven't had the phone for 22 years (?) but still have the cable. Because, you know, I *may* need it one day... :P
A normal outcome of coding! Stuff happens that you wouldn't have even thought of in a way you'd never be able to code! ;-)
I was a C64 boy, but on the Spectrum I was happy to play anything written by Steve Turner. That guy was/is a genius!
I have a few of my own internal dev applications that I used to build as both 32- and 64-bit. For the last few years, I've only built 64-bit versions and no-one has complained when I've passed them on.
I'm fairly sure it's only me, but every time I saw the UK Aldi Xmas adverts featuring their stupid carrots, the one carrot in particular reminded me of a certain Retro Recipes YouTuber and new CEO of #Commodore.

I still tend to follow those principles by choice. I code on PC and cross-assemble, but I never disassemble my work to find issues. I just plug away at the source until I fix an issue. It works for me! I have cheated once or twice and viewed a C64 mem dump just to see the lack of mem I have left!
All I'm seeing is an opportunity to break my toes when I drop it!
Those numbers are a little different to worrying how many sprites your C64 multiplexor could safely handle... ;)

Ha! I'm using 'King Henry VII' units! Weight loss... 6 stone = ~38Kg
I've done much fewer calories this year after losing 6 stone the previous 9 months the good old fashioned 'hard way'! That, however, hasn't diminished my appetite and I could probably eat 3 of them cakes!
