I have seen bad movies Section 31 was just fun. 10/10 make it a one season show. Why not.
I think enough time has moved along that many of the original ST show fans have become too old and conservative to like anything that is "different" other than that old comfortable, safe pair of jeans they are used to. Not all mind you, but many.
Star Trek Fans are haters.
