Another plug for this week's pod.
Giddiness abounds and we have some first hand reporting about the prematch policing suggesting Police Scotland need to have a look at how they police the game*
*They won't
@rgcceltic
Celtic podcast hosted by Jim Burke with regular guests Chris and Paul. Three 'mature" RGCs talking about Celtic with no agenda to be influencers and where xG is "expected Guinness" on a match day https://pod.link/1781046320
Another plug for this week's pod.
Giddiness abounds and we have some first hand reporting about the prematch policing suggesting Police Scotland need to have a look at how they police the game*
*They won't
If the police think they did a good job on Sunday, they're unfit for purpose. The @rgcceltic.bsky.social is evidence they've "forgot" how to segregate when the away fans have the full away end. More specifically, there's video evidence of them standing watching a Rangers fan batter a steward. Awful.
This week's podcast is live and it's a very, very cheery one.
Pittodrie, Penalties, and Post-penalty pandemonium are the major topics up for discussion.
Enjoy and feel free to spread the word if you know someone who's on the target demographic. Let them know via text mebbes

"Competition winner" is trending on social media
The SWAG content suggests the "Giddiness quotient" is at the highest level this season
Well, tomorrow will be fun
Seven years ago today Keith Flint passed away.
He had no idea that his death would be marked with such a touching and heartfelt tribute...
New podcast. A look back at the games in Deutschland and Poundland, a look ahead to Aberdeen and Huns part II, a critique of ticket pricing generally and a debate around the RGC that ends with a potential international incident.

Giddiness forecast: Moderate to high
Maybe Rohl should have told them to try and win the game when they were 2-0 up
Bit harsh...
If 'tic inclined, really worth tuning in here to get a clear and concise summary of the recent meeting between the fans collective and the board from @pault1888.bsky.social he really does do an excellent job of articulating that whats happening is not the work of merely ultras and agitators.
A couple of weeks back our man @pault1888.bsky.social crossed the podcast streams with an appearance on Celtic Underground.
Worth a listen if you enjoyed his report from last week's meeting

This week's episode is live and there's a distinct absence of cheeriness and optimism.
There's a first hand account from the board and the steering group meeting. We're sure you'll find it interesting but again it's cheeriness-free

2. Only the 09/10 season was worse after 27 games, 51pts then v 54 this season. We won 10 of the last 11 games in 09/10.
Even average type of Celtic season would have us on 68pts, and well clear at the top of the league.
I'm sure you didn't need stats to tell you this season is a shitshow, though.
1. We're on course for our worst league performance this century. Our current 2pts per game would mean just 76pts over the course of the full season, 1pt worse off than the 20/21 Covid monstrosity.
No prizes for guessing the mood in the camp ahead of tomorrow's recording
Just seen this
The man in the east and man in the west were in. As was Davie Farrell too
A wee reminder that there's a new pod available.
It's cheery for the most part but the episode title gives you an idea what we have a wee moan about...
Photo of Mogwai on stage at Rock City, Nottingham.
Mogwai were fantastic on Sunday in Nottingham. Loved the new track - Jim Burke Mega Grass.
New episode
Livi, Killie games get discussed. Bit of chat about players that worry us for run in and a look forward to Stuttgart and Hibs.
Bit of chat about the meeting between the board and the steering group too.
Oh and there's a film review and the host gets called a grass

The pod will be out a little later as weβre still trying to get to the bottom of the mystery of who ermβ¦ hacked into the WhatsApp group in the first half of Sundayβs game
We're feeling quite happy with the purchase of Larkhall TV Repairs Co shares we made earlier in the week
We have some disturbing news that the pod WhatsApp group was hacked.
Comments like "brutal" "no way back from this" were made and in NO WAY reflected the mood of the pod members...
He also makes a bid for RGC of the week with his comments on Simon Jordan
Just out of my cancer follow up appt and all appears good
Gives me the opportunity to get on the aul' high horse and lecture the lads of a "certain age"
If summat doesn't look right or feel right then get it looked at. At a "certain age" you don't get the luxury of "achh it's probably nothing"
"No one likes a grass..."
This week's episode is a return to something bordering on "normal"
We talk about Dundee game and look forward to a big week on the park and hopefully a big one off it as well.
Plus the "Unknown Editor" gets the RGC award for this magnificence

It's been *quite* the few days since the transfer window "slammed" shut.
We thought we'd have a chat about the boycott and events at the meeting on Tuesday
Oh and of course Celtic release an interview with the stand in chairman 30 seconds after we uploaded the pod
