I'm not on Twitter but it seems 'Is John Curtice on tv?' isn't being updated.
I'm guessing today he is π
Morning! Monday! This week I'm outlining a book for @indieauthoralli.bsky.social , then will start writing. I'm also doing two interviews about Turn Right At The Rainbow and looking for reviewers. I have a few ARCs if you'd like to review on Goodreads and other good places. How does your week look?
Is EastEnders doing A Christmas Carol? We've had the ghosts of Christmas past, they're doing a flash-foward (Christmas future)...
In my early career I did a couple of days filming a corporate video with Quentin Wilson.
He was brilliant and kind, even if he did talk me out of buying an Alfa! Wish I'd got to do more with him. RIP
Dave Ball was absolutely god tier, work like this din't just set the pace for the 80s but set something much much deeper in motion. Sounds as relevant now as it ever did. The opposite of retro, it's still full of as yet unfulfilled futures.

Non-stop Erotic is one of my all time favourite albums - it's a powerhouse album that really documents the change in society from the 70s to the 80s. So glad I got to see Soft Cell live.
Sleep in a deep deep sleep, Dave Ball
