A note in Pokopia. It reads: The day of departure finally arrived, and Tangela was still nowhere to be found. So I decided to join the survey team after all. It will give me the opportunity to return to the planet periodically, and I can search while I'm there. If there are any strange machines or rare tools on the ship, I should borrow them.

i am genuinely in full on tears at this note i just found. you never did come home, and he misses you so much. everything he does is all because he just wants to see you again. i'm absolutely miserable

it all works really smoothly and your inventory not carrying over between cloud islands & your actual save makes it a really fun way to "start fresh" while playing together. it's like having a minecraft server

so in casefiles, rouge keeps showing up whenever espio is alone to flirt with him and hand out clues. espio is very bluntly not interested. the latest episode strongly suggests the shapeshifting phantom thief they're tracking down is infinite & he Might have been at least one of the rouges

chaotix casefiles has raised the intriguing possibility that infinite fumbled his attempts to cause problems big time by not realising espio is gay
