A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today.
It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.
Just wow.

To pretend the entertainment industry is not affected by politics is to live in a fiction of one’s own making
And why Stephen Colbert has more fortitude than most celebrities at the moment.

@bgrueskin.bsky.social Hi Bill, I actually wanted to bring something to your attention offline -- promise this isn't spam -- and if possible, can you message me an email? It's journo related.

Donate to Alexis Goldstein for Maryland
Alexis Goldstein is running for Congress in Maryland's 6th district because we deserve leaders who shows as much bravery as ordinary people are showing in defense of their neighbors.
My friend Alexis Goldstein is a warrior against Wall Street and oligarchy. The Trump regime fired her from the CFPB as part of their plot to gut consumer protections.
Now, she’s running for Congress. Please donate if you can.
She’s a real one!

Some dream jobs I’d love:
• being the person to read & suggest romance novels for a film/tv/spicy audio company to adapt
• having a imprint to publish romance, mystery, thrillers, poetry
so if anyone wants to take a chance on pleasure & joy in the midst of chaos, hire me. Let’s make it happen.

Prince Andrew's Arrest
Across the pond in Britain, justice and accountability is a serious matter
Never in a million years did I ever fathom when I resurrected the Epstein story in 2018 that it would lead to first arrest of a British Royal in four centuries. Not since King Charles I was arrested in 1647.

when people said this, ppl jumped on them to protect Obama. We have to acknowledge the abject delusion that sometimes bordered on violence when it came to telling the truth about him, and how that has, in part, led us to this moment and place

TEXT: “Everything that I’ve done has been in some context,” Jackson said on his 65th birthday in 2007 when asked to weigh his achievements and failings, “and I’m convinced that we look back like the true judge and ultimately you judge yourself by your cumulative box score. It’s not the home run you hit one inning; it’s not the strikeout the next inning. It is the box score. And our box score — my batting average — has been one I can accept.”
I appreciate this way of evaluating one's life.

I wrote something about Robert Duvall, filmmaking and curatorial and what one of the most elegant scenes in film history (The Godfather II) says about empire, ruin and us.

Another painting by Epstein network survivor Maria Farmer. Why are they redacting her paintings?
She sent these to the FBI, pleading for help to stay safe.

I left Gmail for @proton.me almost four years ago. I did it slowly, first moving over essential services to my new email, telling friends/family the new address, and signing up for new services, etc., with the new address. I use Google much less now.
I figure slow disentanglement > doing nothing

The Chicago Municipal Device is the city symbol few Chicagoans know about
The backstory of Chicago’s century-old symbol — a “Y” inside a circle — that can be found dotted throughout the city.
Inspired by a delightful back-and-forth on here recently between @robertloerzel.bsky.social & @ladytophamcatt.bsky.social sharing photos of the Chicago Municipal Device, I thought it’d be fun to write about what the hell it even is and why you can spot it all over town once you look for it
