March 8, 2026 - Tehran at sunrise today. But the sun is hidden behind a sky filled with smoke. After a night of intensive strikes on oil facilities, thick black clouds now hang over the city, turning morning into something that feels like night.
in the attic of the white house theres a ben garrison drawing of donald trump thats getting more muscular and handsome every day
Not for the first time, these are the actions of a thoroughly collaborationist political party.
There is nothing more or else to it.
One Iran war can buy many USAIDs
the thing people don't talk about about disability is we become used to pushing ourselves too hard our entire life, then it suddenly gets much worse and we get caught backpedaling desperately trying to salvage what we can just trying to get to a baseline where we can store energy
Trans people π€ Palestinians
Never engaging with the New York Times
me neither
good news: I am taking medical leave from my master's degree and getting my second bunionectomy April 14 so I can spend time recovering
The government is literally busting down doors and confiscating political literature. All eyes on Prairieland πππ»
whether racism was caused by white trans women. Genuinely genocidal discourse that helped not one single non-white trans woman, ask me how I fucking know.
Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
Anyways the reason we're fucking at the point where the mainstream of the Republican party is trying to exterminate trans people and they're at the rounding up passports stage of genocide is that while the Right was pushing to kill us all the left was arguing about
Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
And were told to embrace Necropolitics and eugenics as the norm in the opening onslaught of the pandemic.
When I talk about the intersectionality of modern fascism and its accelerationist adjacent beliefs, this is exactly what I am talking about
The infrastructure of mass murder was built around us
can we please stop doing this "white trans women" shit? I know so many white trans women who objectively have a harder and more difficult life than someone making probably 6 figures at a prestigious job.
being white doesn't mean you're not a human and can't suffer from intersectional issues!!
the world has never been less safe, it makes you feel crazy watching people
cheer on war and destruction and destablization for profit and land. one day it will end
I don't know why this is considered such a radical perspective, but a "news" organization with a list of controversies this long can't be reformed.
The NYT must be abolished, and anyone working there must work towards this end through whatever means they have.

I'm not going to quote post because I don't want to dog pile.
But when people say, "don't heckle the staff," this isn't 2010.
We're not talking about normal people choosing normal govt staffing jobs.
This is 2026 where we're kidnapping foreign officials and building concentration camps.
Trump is bombing Iran the right way.

When anyone in a position of power, including the more modest ones those directing the evils of our time rely upon, ever feeling bad is "going too far" then nothing ever changes and everything just keeps getting worse.
Anything else requires breaking this cult of compliance. Hard.
In movements and among media/influencer types, it's the lesser aristocracy, the upper middle class, who tend to wield power.
The fact that following orders and keeping cushy jobs are basically sacrosanct in their culture are part of what's driven this damaging shift that any pressure is "too far."
Not shockingly, this shift has gone along with increasing class stratification within both the wider society and movements ostensibly devoted to change (look at the salaries higher-ups at Gay Inc orgs draw compared to the rank and file).
This means the norms of the gentry hold more sway than ever.
What's replaced it? Vaguely, the idea of the mythical "seat at the table," of changing the minds of those in power (somehow without them ever facing pressure).
Notice this leaves all power in the hands of those who already have it.
The results, in all their utter disaster, speak for themselves.
Boycotts, callout campaigns, disrupting an institution's operations/events, demanding firings and resignations, using guilt/shame/pressure to get figures to bolt.
All longtime tactics even among the most pacifist nonviolence-devoted groups. All now often considered too aggressive or "unproductive."
The way far too many left of center (and plenty even on the left itself) have internalized reactionary propaganda around "cancel culture" has led to a place where any real consequences on those in power are considered "too far."
So even incredibly basic movement tactics end up off the table.
This War Will Destabilize The Entire Mideast Region And Set Off A Global Shockwave Of Anti-Americanism vs. No It Wonβt
Omg no, youβre not going to make Anthropic into βresistance tech.β Nope nope nope
So it seems like they're relying on trans people to self-report they actually don't have any way of enforcing this right now unless you turn yourself in
Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
The entire Democratic strategy debate β "moderate" or move left? fight or compromise? β is based on a misreading of data. Voters don't think Dems are too progressive; they think Dems are weak. The actual math on what to do about this isn't even close!
